MALAIKA TO CELEBRATE 2012 THANKSGIVING DAY WITH PERFORMANCE IN MARYLAND



At exactly 10 pm today, thursday, November 22, 2012 (2am Nigerian time), the ambassador of Proper Music, King Sulaimon Alao Adekunle Malaika would rejoice with Americans as they celebrate the annual Thanksgiving day, which is also known as Turkey day.

This year's celebration, which would be marked with the king on the band stand, is taking place in Washington, Maryland. Put together by Wale Ajanaku's (Bouncer) Fathia Promotions and Entertainment, it would take place inside the event place at 370, West Street, Hyattsville, MD 20705 and is fixed at $20 per head.

Tonight's performance would be Malaika's first in over two months, during which he was in Nigeria to honour performance engagements and lovers of good music can't wait to get a feel of new compositions and beats from the Jagaban of Fuji.

MALAIKA TO CLOSE 2012 IKORODU OGA CELEBRATIONS


This year's Ikorodu Oga celebrations, which began on Saturday, November 10, 2012 would be brought to a deserved end on Saturday, November 17, 2012 with the King of Proper music, Alayeluwa Sulaimon Alao Adekunle Malaika performing. The all night performance, which is being jointly promoted by Ashafa World of Entertainment and Fiesta International Magazine, would take place at the Ikorodu Town Hall. Ikorodu.

Many notable indigenes of the town have received their invitation to the event and are eager to dance to the music of the much talked about Jagaban of Music.

According to Kazeem Olaribigbe, boss of Fiesta Magazine, others who are interested in joining those invited can do so with the sum of N2000, so charged so that residents can have a great time that day. "Malaika has promised us a nite to remember, we are therefore imploring all to put on their dancing shoes and join us to round off the 2012 Ikorodu Oga celebrations" he added

WATCH OUT FOR SPECIAL DAY VIDEO
Work has already commenced on the musical video of the last album of the Proper musician, Ambassador (King) Sulaimon Alao Adekunle Malaika. The video, directed by Dipo Orishadare aka Big Doo, is being shot across the city of Lagos. Some were shot in Ikeja, Lekki and Ibeju before the Eid el Kabir celebrations. Work is still continuing this month so that all can be completed before he would jet out to the United States of America for a series of shows. A unique feature of the shoot was the scene that featured some celebrities who came to be part of the video.
